BMW 650 Convertible
Combining speed and style with the comfort and freedom of a convertible, the BMW 650 convertible is the perfect luxury car rental for enthusiasts who crave something less than typical. Built low to the ground with wide proportions, the exotic car rental is incredibly easy to drive and not bad on the eyes either.
Reintroduced to the market in 2004, the convertible features a sporty two-door design and is easy to handle thanks to lightweight, composite materials like aluminum. To block wind when the top is down, a vertical glass rear window is in place and is easily powered up and down from a convenient dashboard control.
The convertible features an electronic stability system with two different levels and a control wired to the dashboard. The system automatically modifies the steering so that the transmission can be adjust to different terrains and hold gears longer. Powered by a 4.8-liter V8 engine, the car produces 360 horsepower and comes with either a manual or automatic-six speed transmission.
Inside features of the BMW car rental include leather upholstery and BMW’s signature iDrive, a convenient console knob that controls six different functions at once. The roomy cabin fits up to four people, which is uncommon of such a powerful sport vehicle, and there are also several optional amenities to choose from. A navigation system, Sirius Satellite radio, heated front seats and a surround sound audio system are just a few of the upgrades available.
Standard features on the exotic car rental include Park Distance Control, 18-inch flat run tires, active head restraints and Active Roll Stabilization. BMW’s trademark Dynamic Stability Control electronic stability system comes with brake-fade compensation, brake drying, brake standby and a start-off assist feature. Roll bars are also installed and will deploy if there’s an accident or emergency. To ensure drivers stay in their lanes, the car also features an optional lane-departure warning system that will send vibrations to the steering wheel should you veer off course.
