Chevy Tahoe
Spacious, rugged and comfortable, the 2008 Chevy Tahoe
was recently redesigned so that it could compete with other
luxury sport utility vehicles on the market. Ideal for families
or those who find themselves carrying a lot of cargo, the
exotic car rental now includes more luxurious interior amenities
and a more stylish exterior design.
Available in two trim levels, the base LS and the upscale
LT model, the 2008 Chevy Tahoe features an aerodynamic body
that makes for a quieter ride. Built closer to the ground,
the vehicle is large but surprisingly easy to manage and
features a truck-based underpinning that makes the luxury
car rental ideal for off-roading and towing.
Powered by two 4.8-liter V8 engines, the LS model generates
295 horsepower while the LT version produces 320 horsepower
through a pair of 5.3-liter V8’s. Both are equipped
with a four-speed automatic transmission and the LS features
two-wheel drive while the LT has more driving capabilities
with four-wheel drive.
The LS comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 40/20/40
split front eat with built-in storage compartments, satellite
radio, dual-zone climate control and OnStar telematics while
the LT model is a little more extravagant. Featuring three
different equipment groups, the LT can be equipped with
anything and everything from foglamps, color-keyed exterior
trim, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, front bucket
seats and a turn-by-turn navigation system to leather upholstery,
a CD changer, remote starting, heated seats, 20-inch alloy
wheels, rain-sensing wipers and rear park assist.
Each model features the large cabin size associated with
a Chevy car rental and includes optional second- and third-row
folding seats. A roof rack provides additional space for
luggage while impressive towing capabilities allow families
to tow a trailer with even more space for anything they
may need on a getaway or in everyday life.
